Amit Garg

Amit specializes in digital health with some experience in automation and logistics. He has over 20 years of experience in Silicon Valley, including roles at Samsung NEXT Ventures, Norwest Ventures, and Google.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford, as well as an MBA from Harvard. Born and raised in Brazil, Amit speaks three languages, lives a carbon-neutral lifestyle, is a 70.3 Ironman finisher, and has built a hospital in rural India serving 100,000 people.
Sanjay Rao

Sanjay specializes in enterprise and automation investments at Tau Ventures. Previously, he served as a program manager at Microsoft, worked as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, and was a venture investor at Norwest Venture Partners. Additionally, he co-founded an automation startup.
Sanjay holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, as well as bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT. He also spent five years on the MIT Corporation (Board of Trustees) and three years on the MIT Alumni Association Board.
Sam Bogrov

Sam Bogrov is a healthcare investor at Tau Ventures, previously a Principal at Pediatric Associates, focused on mergers and acquisitions. With a background in private equity at Investindustrial and Platinum Equity, he started his career in M&A at Oppenheimer & Co.
His personal experiences with a rare medical condition fuel his passion for funding AI solutions in healthcare. A lifelong Ravens fan from Baltimore, Sam practices daily meditation and recently started playing ice hockey while earning his MBA.
He holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from Wharton, a bachelor's in Economics and Business Psychology from Vanderbilt, and a Master's in Finance from Claremont McKenna College.
Insoo Chang

Insoo invests in enterprise AI and fintech at Tau Ventures. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President at Citigroup's Strategic Investment Team, focusing on growth strategies and investing in early-stage WealthTech startups. He also co-founded NotedSource (https://notedsource.io/), an AI platform for research information. Insoo holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in economics from Cornell University.
Born in South Korea, Insoo speaks Korean and English. He enjoys basketball, running, and hiking, and recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and ran the San Francisco Marathon.
Sharon Huang
Principal
BIO
Before joining Tau, Sharon worked at Novartis, analyzing drug development and creating business strategies. She was also a software engineer at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, where she built a system for protein and genomic sequencing. Sharon holds a bachelor's in computer science and a master's in epidemiology from Stanford, where she co-authored a Ph.D. course on computational protein folding and was a Division I fencer.
Now living in New York, she is continuing her medical training at Mount Sinai. She enjoys the city's social dance and EDM scene and loves discussing game theory and music, always seeking interesting book recommendations.
